Monterey County Women's Crisis Center: The Monterey County Women's Crisis Center is dedicated to promoting violence free lives and a safer, healthier community. Services include a 24-hour crisis line, providing crisis intervention, information and referral by calling 831-757-1001 or 888-757-1001. Services that are provided include temporary restraining orders, harassment orders, safety plans and court accompaniment.

Monterey County Violence / Abuse Telephone Hot Lines: The Monterey County YWCA maintains a 24 hour Domestic Violence Hotline at 831-372-6300 or 831-757-1001 to address complex issues facing families in domestic crisis and transition. Their approach to domestic violence is 4-fold:
  1. To dispense critical immediate support services
  2. To provide strategies for healing once immediate crises pass
  3. To provide education and counseling to break the cycle of violence in the lives of individuals and families
  4. To advocate for public policies focusing on ending family violence. Each of our programs address one of these critical issues
